Overview:
This program is designed for IT professionals that are looking to become Oracle 10g Database Administrators. Students will have the skills to administer, manage, install, secure, and optimize the Oracle database platform by learning the basics of database functionality and more advanced database administration skills of performing backups and recovery operations, improving database performance, and enhancing security.
Learners who complete a certificate will be able to:
1. Describe data modeling components and work step-by-step through the normalization process.
2. Discuss the features of Oracle8i.
3. Develop PL/SQL procedures and describe Object-Oriented Technology.
