Overview:
This program will prepare you to be a professional web designer as it will teach you the basics of creating web pages using HTML and how to lay out the content of a web page. You will learn how to utilize the best practices of cascading style sheets through the use of proper concepts, techniques, properties, and values. The use of Macromedia Flash 8 and Dreamweaver 8 are also covered in this program.
Learners who complete a certificate will be able to:
1. Author HTML web pages from scratch.
2. Utilize the use of HTML tables and lay out content.
3. Use Cascading Style Sheets to design and develop web sites using color and typographical styles, created embedded and linked style sheets, and use box properties to design content sections.
4. Identify the advantages of Flash 8.
5. Use the basics of ActionScript to create interactive movies.

7. Develop a website using the Dreamweaver application.
